Events - Event View

Hey to all you GLP fans! We’ve got something new for you to enjoy this summer. We’re
starting a GLP Olympics, one set of games in July and another in August. On Fridays, you and
your teammates will show up and compete in two events each week. These events will vary in
style (i.e. trivia, athletic, outlandish). There will be different events each week. You will need to
build a team of two to ten people. Generally each event will require two people, with a few
events needing more. Your entire team does not need to be present each week. These Olympics
are a “point based” competition that will be cumulative. There will be points for first, second,
and third for each event as well as points for a creative team name, outfits, and spirit. Note that
you must be 16 years or older and a Yacht Club member to participate. Build your team, join the
YC, and sign up when ticket sales open up—limited to fifteen teams.
July Olympics Dates: July 10, 17, 24, 31 with an award party to follow on July 31
