We offer a swimming for fitness program for our more competitive swimmers.  Swimmers must be able to demonstrate an ability to swim 100 meters independently.  This class will focus on swim endurance, fitness swim/aquatic exercise, and swimming as cross training for other sports.  It will also teach you to identify currents, water safety precautionary measures and how how to recognize and assist distressed swimmers.  This class is not intended for life saving certification and it does not take the place of such a certification program.  This class will strengthen endurance and work on stroke development.  Classes will meet at Main Beach to start on Mondays & Wednesdays from 12:30 to 1:45pm

Only YOUTH MEMBERS, age 9+, will participate. To register youth members in your membership you must select Not me, but I'm registering X others in the "Who is registering for this event?" section.
